SSLC results was announced by Education Minister P.K.Abdurab at 11.30 am today. 93.64% students passed without giving moderation. 6,995 students got A+ for all subjects. Kozhikode district got more A+ ie.927 studentts. 711 schools had 100% pass. Certificates was given on May 15 onwards. Say exam will be from May 14 to 18.

India’s largest car manufacturer ,Maruti Suzuki has launched its first Life Utility Vehicle (LUV) Ertiga on Thursday. Ertiga, Maruti’s first multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2012 in Delhi. With Ertiga, the company steps into the Utility Vehicle (UV) segment and effectively creates a new compact MPV segment in India. According to estimates provided by the company, the utility vehicle segments accounts for around 14 per cent of the Indian automobile industry and 66 per cent of these are MPV.

Tamil film ‘Vana Yudham’ and its Kannada version ‘Attagasam’, depicting the life of slain forest brigand Veerappan has locked by the local court inorder to screen the film after the approval of Tamil bi-weekly ‘Nakheeran’ editor Gopal. The films on the life of Veerappan, who was shot dead by the Tamil Nadu Special Task Force in October 2004, had been made by film-maker and producer AMR Ramesh of Bangalore and two other producers.
